Facebook Has Been Approaching Cybersecurity Companies to Make Its Platform Safer Than Ever

Facebook, particularly Mark Zuckerberg, has seen a major backlash in the past few months relating to the breach of data that took place on Facebook. Facebook was reported selling visitor’s information to other parties, without their consent, which led to a war between the once Facebook enthusiasts and the owner of the giant.
Later, another news of a hacker stealing visitor’s information was recorded in the news which made the company super-cautious with respect to the conduct of security, prevailing on-site.
In order to ensure no such event takes place again, Facebook has been approaching several cybersecurity companies to improve and enhance its data protection measures. It is reported being having a dialogue with such companies to further proceed with finalizing the one whose framework can be incorporated and aligned with that of Facebook.
Though when asked, Facebook did not give a statement proving the news right or wrong, however; as per the reports of The Information Facebook is waiting for the right company to strike a deal with them. Once done, Facebook will use the expertise of the cybersecurity company to make its platform safe and friendly.
The names of the companies, as approached by Facebook, are undercover, however; once the deal is done, the name of the savior would be unveiled. Till then our data’s security is in our hands.
Stay safe, enjoy Facebooking…
