Messenger Redesign; We Are Finally Going To Have An Updated Messenger

The popular message and calling application, messenger, has reportedly undergone re-design and we will soon have a better place to communicate on.
The widely-popular application Facebook was seen concerned about its chatting application and the complaints received regarding it. In the F8 developers conference the CEO; Mark Zuckerberg, agreed with the troublesome UI of the application, which is surely hectic to use as compared to other chatting platforms like, Whatsapp and iMessage.
Earlier in May the company announced to re-design the application and built less effort taking features in it.
“When you’re messaging, you really want a simple and fast experience. We’re taking this moment to completely redesign Messenger to focus these ideas.”
says the 34-year old CEO.
Apart from re-design, the vice president of Facebook Messenger, David Marcus also announced the streamline update for Facebook messenger during the conference. The streamline update of the messenger is expected to roll-out pretty soon, which will include streamlining update, proper dark mode and also the removal of features from the application that people don’t use.
The recently updated messenger application was revealed through leaked screenshots. These screenshots were received by Android Police which showed a new look of the messenger application.
The updated UI has three tabs; conversations, contacts, and an explore tab at the bottom of the app instead of the usual five that the current messenger app has. At the top left, there are two shortcuts: camera and compose. The chat window also has a much cleaner look.
But-but-but, the dark mode seems unavailable in the updated version too. Let’s hope it comes out with the new version.
