Who doesn’t rely on Google assistant these days? Now with the upgrade, we will find ourselves more dependant on this Google creation.

Google has now shrunk its voice recognition models down from hundreds of gigabytes to half a gigabyte. Which makes the model right to fit on a phone.

Now that the assistant will be stored locally, the conversation is meant to become instantaneous. Also now that it’s running on the device, it will work in airplane mode as well.

The company in its keynote showed the capability of the Google Assistant in the device by firing commands to it and showing its amazing result.

The good news is that the next-gen Google Assistant will debut in Google Pixel Phones next year.

I don’t know about you but my eyes were surely seeking some darkness. And finally, my prayers have been heard. The Android Q will have a dark theme that can be triggered automatically and also function manually.

Not only the dark mode but you can also have focus mode while doing something important. Now you won’t be distracted with the frequently used application as focus mode allows you to make a list of all the apps that distract you while working. The list will then disappear that app until you switch off the focus mode.

Google Maps with AR Mode:

Google Maps is getting better with the Augmented Reality feature displayed earlier. The Google Map AR will help to understand their direction way better than GPS. As soon as the users hold their phone up. The augmented reality feature will show the camera view of the whole world in front of the user. Google Maps will then compare this image to its Street View data to determine your exact position/orientation.

This mode is yet in beta for a while but will soon start debuting in the Google Pixels phone.

These were just some of the announcements made by Google in Google keynote 2019. However soon after the consumer-focused keynote, the company started developer-focused keynote as well.
