What is life without SnapChat?

Even without accurate figures, the outburst of emotions one shows while using SnapChat, pretty much proves the popularity of it. To be honest I was someone who was just not buying the idea of putting unrealistic filters on my face and feel beautiful. But damn, I tried it once on my friend’s phone and it surely made me feel BEAUTIFUL, in a weird way, of course.

You know, having bulging eyes with a sleek nose and a flower tiara on my head, is weird. But it surely looks amazing!

Moreover, the amount of efforts graphic designers have put in creating heaven for youngsters is having all praises.

According to Snap commission survey, which focused on how similar media makes people feel, SnapChat has proven to top the chart for distributing ‘happiness.’

These commissioned surveys and studies have become pretty common in the social media world.

This time, the survey had its concern with social media users’ emotions. The recent commission survey, although being a little flawed, has surely proven beneficial for the mighty social media platform.

A little flaw I think lies with the fact that no other social media platforms “happiness” percentage was taken under consideration. It also helped SnapChat in looking different than its competitors who are currently under bad reputation.

Not only did this survey, but other survey results have similar details to deliver for the social media platform. The number of youngsters joining and receiving happiness through SnapChat is similar in percentage in different survey results.

Why Is SnapChat Popular Among All?

Remember the time when Facebook was the ruler in a kingdom of its own. The time has long gone by…

With untimed controversies and uncalled blames, Facebook is left for the oldies to enjoy. All of this change has a lot to do with the privacy breach incidents happening from years. Youngsters, today, prefer privacy over anything and everything. This is something the ‘once-mighty social media platform’ isn’t valuing now.

And their negligence towards the importance of privacy is something that is coming handy for the Snapchat owners. And not only this, but a continuous up-gradation of the application is becoming the magnetic factor in gripping the youngsters.

You know being different is the revenue booster, or maybe not, whatever.

Apparently, there are a lot of social media platforms which TRIED to take ‘inspiration’ from Snapchat but ended up being umm…  cringy?

“SnapChat Users are More Socially Connected”

Like I said above, the reported survey has proven to be the revenue booster for the company. As it was facing an issue in retraining users.

As per the company, the survey also shows that the users of this particular application are more socially connected as compared to any other application.

This is because, unlike Facebook, Twitter, and other social media giants, SnapChat is more about chatting. Rather than putting up statuses and updates.

Also, I believe, the amount of effort put on Graphics is what makes SnapChat the most used application. This not what only I’m saying, Pew study echoes this as well.

Pew Survey Declares SnapChat As The Most Used App:

Things went pretty fine for the social media giant in 2018.

The survey study by Pew showed that the chatting app is the most used application by youngsters among others.

One more Pew study’s survey comes in contrary with the common perspective. According to the second study by Pew study, social media makes teens feel more confident, supported, and connected.

The study conducted that out of 743 teen respondents, 31 percent said social media had a “mostly positive effect” on their lives. While 45 percent of the Pew respondents were doubtful.

So this pretty much shows that the social media platforms, specially SnapChat, has a lot to do with happiness and contentment found in teenagers these days.
